ENEDIS – strategic planning tool

Development of a strategic planning tool for ENEDIS

Since 2012, Infotel has been working with ENEDIS, (previosuly ERDF) to set up its offerings both in terms of procedure and carrying out surveys.

Context & challenges

The project involves creating a strategic planning tool capable of answering the following question:

“How can sites be set up in a given territory and divided into sectors so as to optimise the management of technicians’ mobility, bearing in mind all the various types of activity which characterise these sites?”

Tools and functionalities

Territorial reorganisation: sectorisation, opening/closing/relocation of sites, opening of n sites.

Activity management: study of the impact resulting from total or partial consolidation of activities in a given territory and transformations to that activity in a given territory.

Site management: definition of sites’ maximum capacities according to activity, minimal number of technicians required to open the site and minimum staffing required going forward, depending on volume of activity.

The expert's viewpoint

In carrying out these surveys, we had to establish a number of mathematical models and implement tools associated with logistic optimisation and geo-marketing.
