Implementation of an association management software solution for Bordeaux Métropole

The Bordeaux Urban Area implemented a software solution for managing associations in its region. The project is based entirely on open source technology that enabled the local authority to carry out large-scale pooling operations by deploying the solution across all communities to replace current solutions.

Context and challenges

The consumer-oriented solution had to incorporate security issues (RGS) and accessibility issues (RGAA).

  • Incoming demand management with JIRA

  • Tests using different types of physical media (smartphone and tablet)
  • Specific test strategy to meet Accessibility Standards (RGAA) via a compliance matrix
  • Using a Continuous Integration Server (SONAR, JENKINS) for non-regression testing
