Web application that brings together car parts information and tracking for automotive manufacturers, with predictive modelling to enable planning that maximizes cost savings.

In the car industry a lot of the same parts are used in the manufacture of multiple different vehicles. The web application brings parts information and tracking for multiple manufacturers together, helping users interact with multiple systems to see what parts are available and where they might be. In addition to look up and status tracking, the app provides a console for predictive modelling of part needs per plant and across plants.

Clean, intuitive user interface provides the ability to retrieve details from entered part number(s). Numbers provide the basis for predictive modelling and RAN (allocation numbers) tracking.

Advanced filtering system in console views provide a way of refining complex and/or large data sets retrieved by number searches.



As part of a cost saving logistics objective, the automotive group aims to bring together a way of tracking, sourcing and predicting requirements for car parts from multiple plants for ordering and distribution.


A web application that draws details, usage information, live shipment and stock status (and further data) from input part numbers to provide intelligent, cross referenced views on availability and status, and as the basis for predictive modelling.


MVP attained in April 2019, now deployed internationally across plants (UK, Europe & Russia, South Africa, Japan, USA). The app has been very well received and is heralded as an exemplary development collaboration (Infotel and a partner Innovation team).

  • Angular 6 framework with HTML5 & CSS3
  • Java data layer: Web services and endpoints for RAN (parts allocation numbers) data created by partner 2 Innovation Centre development team
  • Much of the logic is done on front end , including fit to data model (car part numbers fetch returns 2 different data models). Potential for performance lag issues addressed by modularizing and refactor.
  • Mock data sets modelled on partner 1 parts data was used for initial phase of development while web services under development by partner 2 team.

  • Easing and simplification of the consumer spending comprehension: classification of bank transfers from the study of receipt and invoice item data.


Automated process of scientific papers and other documentation linked to the registering of a patent for intellectual property.


  • Recognition and automatic indexation of fields for a precise search among the documents relating to the patent application.
  • Standardisation of the documents with online specifications: bibliopraphy, expired patent, renewed patent, etc.


Automatic processing of receipts, bills and other financial documents.


  • Automisation of the accounting process: declaration of VAT, supplier bills, etc.
  • Standardisation and harmonisation of the business accounting processes.
  • Improving data security with the deletion of manual errors and with the synthesising of controls.
  • Contribution to the reduction in fraud risks, à la réduction des risques de fraude, reinforcement of operational security, audit trails and internal controls.
  • Support in the change management and accounting teams on the appropriation of this new solution.
