On 18 September, Bernard Lafforet, CEO of the Infotel Group, received the “Prix de la Performance” in the “Development” category.

The Prix de la Performance, organised by Les Échos newspaper and partners of the Corporate portfolio (Accor, AirFrance-KLM, American Express, Europcar and Hertz) since 2001, is presented each month to three business owners from a region.
It was the opportunity of the Seine-Saint-Denis region, where Infotel has its registered address, during September 2008.

Selection process

The selection process of the award winners is complex.
Among the 975 companies registered in the region of Seine-Saint-Denis, and whose 2005 turnover was between 5 and 150 million euro, only the companies who published three consecutive 12-month balance sheets since 2005, whose exports represent at least 5% of their turnover, and who have a positive recurring turnover before taxes in the last three years are eligible.
Only 102 companies where considered for the Prix de la Performance.
Indicators such as the average revenue growth and the export turnover, and finally, the average profit growth calculated over three years are taken into account.
There are three categories for award winners: development, export and innovation.

  • Easing and simplification of the consumer spending comprehension: classification of bank transfers from the study of receipt and invoice item data.


Automated process of scientific papers and other documentation linked to the registering of a patent for intellectual property.


  • Recognition and automatic indexation of fields for a precise search among the documents relating to the patent application.
  • Standardisation of the documents with online specifications: bibliopraphy, expired patent, renewed patent, etc.


Automatic processing of receipts, bills and other financial documents.


  • Automisation of the accounting process: declaration of VAT, supplier bills, etc.
  • Standardisation and harmonisation of the business accounting processes.
  • Improving data security with the deletion of manual errors and with the synthesising of controls.
  • Contribution to the reduction in fraud risks, à la réduction des risques de fraude, reinforcement of operational security, audit trails and internal controls.
  • Support in the change management and accounting teams on the appropriation of this new solution.
