Operating Principles

  1. The objects to be simulated are selected from the production catalog. The values recovered are saved in a database variant (0).
  2. The database variant can be modified to create a series of variants corresponding to the simulations to be run.
  3. The DDL and updates of the target catalog are generated and submitted under control of the user.
  4. After catalog update, a check of the (new) DB2 access strategy must be made (e.g. with InfoScope).
